By registering for Chennai PEDICON 2026, the registrant agrees to the following cancellation and refund policy.
1. Cancellation Fees and Deadlines
Refunds will be calculated based on the gross registration fee paid (excluding GST).

Early Cancellation (Up to 30 April 2026)
A 25% cancellation fee will be deducted. The remaining amount will be eligible for refund.

Standard Cancellation (1 May 2026 – 31 July 2026)
A 50% cancellation fee will be deducted. The remaining amount will be eligible for refund.

Late Cancellation (1 August 2026 – 10 August 2026)
A 75% cancellation fee will be deducted. The remaining amount will be eligible for refund.

Non-Refundable Period
Cancellation requests received on or after 11 August 2026 will not be eligible for any refund.
2. Non-Transferable Registration
Conference registrations are strictly non-transferable.
A registered delegate may not transfer or assign their registration to another person under any circumstances.
Requests for name changes, substitutions, or delegate transfers will not be entertained.
3. Mandatory Cancellation Procedure
To maintain proper records and ensure data security, the following procedure must be followed:

Registered Email Requirement
Cancellation requests must be sent only from the email address used during registration.
Requests received from other email addresses will not be processed.

Prohibited Channels
Cancellation requests made via WhatsApp, SMS, phone calls, or verbal communication will not be accepted.
4. General Terms

Timestamp of Request
The official date of cancellation will be determined by the timestamp of the cancellation email received by the conference secretariat.

GST Component
The GST portion of the registration fee is non-refundable under all circumstances.

Refund Processing Timeline
Eligible refunds will be processed within 4–6 weeks after completion of the conference.
5. Force Majeure
The organizing committee shall not be held liable for any cancellation, postponement, modification, or disruption of the conference due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
These may include but are not limited to:
- Natural disasters
- Public health emergencies or pandemics
- Government restrictions or regulatory actions
- Civil disturbances or strikes
- Travel restrictions or other unforeseen circumstances
In such situations, the organizing committee reserves the right to modify the conference format, reschedule the event, or revise the refund policy as deemed appropriate.
